SWAMPY SPECIAL MNF: DAAA BERZ

***CHICAGO BEARS +2***

Alright ladies and gents, the Swamper is settling in the zone comfortably after that Pittsburgh upset call to end a decently even day yesterday going 2-2-1 in the Muck 5. Not happy about it, but it could have been worse. Those Brownies shoulda won outright and it is a damn shame for them that they lost such a big game at home against divisonal big brother Baltimore. Tonight we have a Monday Night Football special with DAAAAAA BERZ traveling into New York (New Jersey) to take on Rex Ryan and the Gang Green Grity Jets. DAAA BEARZZZ are flying high after pulling out a major comeback against the San Fran 49ers last Sunday Night in the second half, after being down big, they managed to overcome what looked like was going to be an embarassing loss for themselves to pull out an impressive win. It was the kind of game that looked to be a perfect example of "a tale of two halves" type of football game. This means that both teams completely flipped personas at halftime and were opposites in the second half from what they started out to be in the first half. The Niners started out strong to open up their brand new stadium and christen it with a Sunday Night Football big stage special and were hoping to do so with a big win. Everything looked to be going according to plan when Jay Cutler and his banged up WRs decided to MAN-UP and take over in the second half and could not be stopped. They put on a clinic and DA BEARS defense caught the disease as well and joined the party in a big way stepping up to the plate and became a nightmare for young struggling QB Colin Kapernick. I think the Jets are very similar to the Niners, and are basically just a "poor man's" version of the team. Geno Smith has impressed me thus far this season. I will give him credit where it is due. He has made me eat my words that he will never be able to compete in this league so far this season. I like what the Jets are doing as well as a team, I really do. They come to play every game and do everything they can to get the win. If not for a terrible timing time-out call last Sunday on a successful Hail Mary for the Jets, they may have been able to hold on and get a HUGE win against the Green Bay Packers in Lambo. Unfortunately for them, they just fell short and could not hold onto a big lead that they established from the opening kickoff. Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson took over in the second half of that game and woke the Packers up who seemed to underestimate the Jets and came out a bit flat last week.

I think DAAA BEAARZZ who also came out flat last week will be sure not to do that again tonight after seeing what they had to do last week to overcome it and also, how hot the Jets came out against the Pack and just how ready and prepared they were for that game. DAA BEARZZZ are very well coached and despite some big time injuries, have many veterans playing pretty well and they mave have found a gem in their first round draft pick, rookie CB Kyle Fuller last week after he was forced to answer the bell when ProBowl CB Peanut Tillman went down with another injury. Boy oh boy did the rookie answer that bell with two interceptions on Kapernick to help bring DAA BEARZZZ back and set his team up with some great field position along with momentum to capitalize on, which they then took advantage of and did.

Basically tonight I think will be the same kind of deal for both teams. I think we are in for a good hard fought and hard hitting battle between two defenses who have talent in their front seven but are hurting in their secondary. Although Geno has impressed me with his throws and accuracy so far this season, I just think that Jay Cutler and the new Monsters of the Midway AKA WRs Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, tight end Martellus Bennett, and don't forget about veteran WR and late aquisition Santnio Holmes making a homecoming to his former team tonight, will just be too much on this depleted Jet secondary tonight. All in all I think the Jets come to play and play well, but it just won't be enough to overcome DAA BEARZZ and all those weapons tonight with Jay Cutler and that cannon of an arm that he has picking them apart slinging the rock wherever he pleases. I foresee the Jet run game being the gameplan with some trickery or option plays wherever possible, but stalling into some red-zone FGs and just not having enough firepower after that draining loss last weekend against these rejuvinated Grizzly BEARZZZZZ. Great battle tonight, but the better team overall comes out on top as they will be ready to go in this Prime Time spot. DAAA BEARZ +2.
