WEEK 6 MUCKAROOO COMING IN HOT FROM THE SWAMP!

ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT I SHALL WASTE NO MORE TIME AND I APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAYED POST!!!

The Swampman coming in off his best week yet as we absolutely CRUSHED last week's picks and that's what Swamper loves to do more than anything! There will be no looking back now as we will continue to roll through week 6 with fury and hit straight 'dubbyas' across the board today! I am late once again to the party with my post so I will keep today's version short and sweet. But hey, late to the party....Swampnasty does it no other way and lives by making an entrance and arriving with STYLE! With out further adieu, the Week 6, Muck 5, LET'S GO!

***TAMPA BAY BUCANEERS +3.5***

The Bucs seem to finally be righting the ship (no pun intended, hehe). Young QB Mike Glennon or as I like to refer to him as, McGlennon, has sparked this offense and today it looks like they will be getting rookie beast WR Mike Evans back to pair up with his future version of himself, Vincent Jackson on the other side of the field. This duo is deadly. They remind me of Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jefferey in Chicago, two huge target WRs and I like them today against a Raven's team who is very banged up on defense. Baltimore looks to be reeling a bit lately, ever since that Panther's game where Steve Smith Sr. went off against his old team, they seem to have lost their way a bit. I think they go down today and will get back on track next week home against Atlanta. The Bucs are playing well and could have easily won last weekend in the dome against the Saints which the fact that they even forced the game to overtime is impressive and tells me that they have gotten it together and their win in Pitt two weeks ago wasn't just a fluke. Bottom line is this Bucs team is extremely talented and not as bad as they have looked early this season. They are capable of hanging with good teams as we have seen the past two weeks and I believe they are in a great spot today at home and will get the W, but let's take those generous points! BUCS +3.5!

***MIAMI DOLPHINS +3***

The Dolphins are well rested coming out of their bye week and hosting the mighty Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have looked very strong as of late however I think that this is quite the miraje as they have played teams who were in a bad spot and just did what they are supposed to do, and capitilize on it to get the win. They beat a Bears team who have been stuck with the Bad Jay Cutler lately and a Vikings team on Monday Night who's QB was the best player on the Packers that night! Christian Ponder, woof, god AWFUL! I didn't think it was possible for a QB to completely change an entire team by simply playing. The Vikings went from great to terrible, the bad vibes were contagious, but I will get to that in a few.....Now back to Miami. Oh yes, their Head Coach is facing his old team today, the troops will rally and be ready for a fight today and make a valid attempt to win one for the Gipper. The Phins will be bringing the heat on Rodgers today with stud DE Cameron Wake and I think that they will have him running for his life. Good QBs don't necessarily fair well in Miami, (see Brady week 1). I know Lacy looked like he is back to dominance last weekend but Miami's defense will be able to limit him as well. The game will be played in some serious humidity, and it looks like it might be wet, the Miami offense will be able to move the ball agaisnt the Green Bay defense also. They may even get RB Knoshon Moreno back today who looked to be an absolute BEAST week 1 before getting sidelined with an elbow injury. In a nutshell, I foresee a sloppy game with a Dolphin's team giving it all they got today to pull an upset. I heard that the Phins have never felt closer to each other than what they have felt over the bye week and that it could not have come at a better time. They will be ready for the Pack today, Phins +3!

***MINNESOTA VIKINGS -2***

The Vikings are in a great spot to take advantage of a wounded Lions team, both physically and mentally. Detroit missed 3 FGs last weekend to drop a game against a Buffalo team that they should have beaten. That hurts. They are also without their top two weapons in Megatron and Reggie Bush. The Vikings will have rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater back under center today which means they will be back to the confident and dangerous purple people that we saw against the Falcons at home two weeks ago. The Vikings are in the works of building something great here with their new QB, I have been real high on them and that got me into trouble in their last game Thursday Night against the Packers when I thought they would still be able to hang in Green Bay despite not having Bridgewater at QB and having Christian Ponder taking his spot. YIKES! Was I wrong about that. Ponder threw pick after pick, no suprise there and the Packers rolled the Vikings with no mercy. I think that all the pressure is on the Lions today and that they will not be able to matchup well against Minnesota and will get outcoached today in this one in Minnesota. On the road, without their best players, off a terrible loss, their confidence has to be shot. Teddy will pick them apart with Patterson, Jenkins, and Jennings and as the mobility to elude that defensive line rush. The Vikes will play motivated and get the job done today. Stafford and Tate will do what they can but it won't be enough. Vikings get back on track and start to go on a run today, Purple People Eaters -2.

***ATLANTA FALCONS -3***

DAAA BEARZZZ roll into Atlanta in what will be a high scoring SHOOT OUT today but I think the Dirty Birds at home will come out on top. Matt Ryan and Jay Cutler will pick apart these nonexistant defenses with their deadly weapons at WR and this one will probably be the most entertaining one of the day. However I think Da Bearz are also having some trouble lately and have to figure out a way to get Jay Cutler back to the 'good' Jay Cutler because lately it has been 'bad' Jay Cutler and he has thrown a number of interceptions. The WRs are banged up and I just think that Matt Ryan makes less mistakes than Cutler and that is what this one will come down to. They will score at will and the Birds are more desperate for a win than Da BEARZ are and will play harder today. That being said I think their defense will step up and play above their ability and Da BEARZ defense is just too banged up and without too many starters to hang with the Falcons at home today. The Birds need this one badly, and Julio Jones, Roddy White, and not to mention Devin Hester playing against his old team, will come out on top in the end today. BIRDS -3!

***DENVER BRONCOS -9.5***

Simple formula here....the Broncos are arguably the league's best offense and despite the Jets going all out and giving maximum effort today, will beat New York by at least ten points. I hate to say it, but the Jets have absolutely no chance. Part of me says "no Swamp, you know better than to go against a desperate team like this at home with this much going against them," however I just don't think it matter and am still confident that it is safe to make that statement and not worry about the Jets making me eat my words today. Geno is just not a good NFL QB and the Broncos defense is no slouche either. They will have a feast today and pad the stats a bit against this anemic Jet offense. Geno or Vick, it doesn't matter, they will get sacked and throw interceptions today and the Broncos will dominate. The Jets just simply do not have the man power to cover all the Bronco weapons on offense. Manning is going for the record today and needs 6 TD passes to pass up Brett Favre for the most all-time passing TDs. You better believe he wants to take advantage of a Jet defense like this and get this distraction out of the way today, and the scary part is, is that he can do it. I foresee Demaryius Thomas having multiple TDs today and the Jets having some serious questions to answer after the game. Something tells me they do suprise us and bounce back, it is just one game too early. Don't look now but I could see the Jets going down big today and losing by at least ten but not for a lack of effort, and then somehow overcoming the Pats this Thursday Night when everyone REALLY has given up on them after today's big L. Lay the wood with Peyton. Pony's -9.5.

Okay I won't delay any further since I know kickoff is upon us. I apologize in advance for the rush and possible lack of proofreading in this Muck, but hey, what is this English class?! As long as the picks are there am I right?! I LOVED a lot of games today and it took me awhile to narrow them down to these 5, that is the reason for the delay. My other leans were Cleveland PK, Oakland +7, and I really LOVE the game tonight so make sure to pop back in for that pick before Prime Time Ball later. Alright everyone enjoy the games today, cheers!
