***MNF DOUBLE DAWG HEADER IN THE SWAMP***

***NEW YORK JETS +3***

Plain and simple. The Bills organization has been in turnmoil all week due to this snowstorm. They had to travel to Detroit when it should be a game in their backyard. This will take away their home field advantage, obviously. I would also go ahead and guess that any Lion's fan going to the game is going to side with the Jets simply because of their old Head Coach Jim Schwartz being Buffalo's current defensive coordinator. Last time the Bills were in Detroit they squeaked out an upset over the Lions due to Detroit missing something like 3 Field Goals and Jim Schwartz ignorantly was carried off of the field by his players. Now I know fans have nothing to do with the game, but I would imagine that this setting will act more of like a home game for New York than Buffalo. The last time these two division rivals faced off was in New York and the Jets were straight up embarassed, so this is also a bit of a revenge game for Rex and Co. Also note that in the previous game the Jet QB was Geno Smith who had an abismal first half throwing numerous interceptions which physically and mentally CRUSHED NY and gave them zero chance to be in that game. Backup QB Michael Vick also foolishly not prepared to come into the game and take over at that time. Since he has started the Jets have been playing somewhat better and are staying competetive in games and actually shutdown a tough Pittsburgh team who was on a roll at the time to get their second win. Tonight I see the Jets coming out strong off of their bye week and taking advantage of the extra time to prepare for this revenge matchup as well as Buffalo's lack of preparation due to the snow storm and not being able to practice. I think WR Percy Harvin has been with NY long enough now to be a big factor tonight and also can see the Jets run game with Ivory and CJ2K having a big part in the offense on the turf as well. On the other side of the ball the Bill's run game has been nonexistant ever since losing their two starting RBs and will have a hard time getting anything going against the Jets stout defensive front. Standout rookie Bills WR Sammy Watkins will do his thing tonight I am sure as he is hard to stop and will most likely exploit the Jets weak secondary at points but I do not trust Orton to deliver the rock consistently against the pressure he will surely face tonight. Jets win outright here, take the 3.

***BALTIMORE RAVENS +3***

The Ravens are quietly one of the league's best teams in my opinion. QB Joe Flacco has an aresenal at WR that can explode at any given time. I think they have been fairly quiet and under the radar as of late and this is usually the type of game where they come out and make a statement. I know it is a tough spot to go into New Orleans on Monday Night Football where they are usually automatic but this Saints team is clearly struggling and it doesn't matter if they are home or away. Luckily for them, their division is horrendous. Therefore they are feeling very little heat to get a win since Atlanta and Carolina can't seem to get their stuff together either and face much tougher roads ahead. The Saints can lose here tonight and still be the favorite to win the division moving forward, whereas Baltimore has some stiff competition between all three rivals in their division and can't afford to drop any games if they wish to win it or even be a wildcard in a very tight AFC playoff race. I think the absence of rookie WR Brandin Cooks for the rest of the season will also hurt NO in a big way. He was a great weapon and compliment to play off of all the attention that freak TE Jimmy Graham draws and now they will be lacking that factor in their offense. I think Suggs and his buddies get in Brees face tonight and that Flacco will be able to throw all over this NO secondary. Mighty Mouse himself veteran WR Steve Smith has been way too quiet especially as of late for the Ravens, and Prime Time football is usually where he reminds us just who he is and what he can do. I think he has a big game tonight. Black Birds win outright, take the 3!
