***SWAMPFIRE SNF DEN @ KC***

***KANSAS CITY CHIEFS PK***

Ahhhh another fabulous day in the Muck is wrapping up and the SwampMan is feeling strong and looking to close the night out that way. Tonight we have the mighty mighty Denver Broncos heading into the infamously hostile enviornment of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. That being said, I think the home field will indeed be an advantage for the ChefBoyardees in this game as they look to pull of a HUGE win against their divisional big bad brother. Peyton and the Ponys (good band name) have not been quite the force that they were earlier this season and I think they have shown signs of struggle and weakness as of late. It is no secret that Peyton is not a fan of defensive pressure in his face when he drops back into the pocket to pass and unforuntely for him, I see a lot of that happening tonight. The same way the Rams were able to get to him early and often, I see Kansas City doing so as well with many different blitz packages having an effect and rattling the Sheriff the same way they destroyed Brady many Monday Night Footballs ago. This place will be rocking and that defensive front will be licking their chops and feeding off of the energy that the fans will inevitably create on such a big game for Prime Time Sunday Night Football. Although he is no Peyton Manning, KC QB Alex Smith is a great game manager and does not turn the ball over often. I think KC establishes the run game early with RBs Charles and Davis to keep Peyton off of the field and on the sideline as much as possible. Look for Smith to utilize his security blanket in the big and athletic TE Travis Kelce effectively on third down as well. I know KC got whooped by a winless Oakland team last week in the Black Hole and I was on DAAA RRRAAIIIIDAAAZ that game as well, but that was Oaktown's Super Bowl. Their season is over and frankly not to make excuses but KC took them lightly and were looking ahead to tonight, no doubt about it. For the cherry on top, I also like the additional "X-Factor" here for KC which is playing for their teammate/brother AKA stud safety and leader of the defense Eric Berry, was diagnosed with a possible very serious illness in lymphoma. Although his presence will very much be missed in the secondary, I see KC coming together and using this as extra motivation to get the win for him tonight in a big statement game. I actually just saw that Kelce was wearing Berry's number in warmups just now, so you can bank on the fact that they are behind him 100% and are as focused as can be tonight. CHEFFIES COOKIN UP AN UPSET HERE!
