Going to keep this short and sweet here for the sake of time, but I like the Bolts at home tonight. They were amongst the top of the league for the better part of this season and had suffered some significant injuries that led to a bit of a lull for them during the season. However they have begun to bounce back and I think they keep it going with a big statement win tonight. It seems as though the NFL world has already granted Mr. Brady and Manning with AFC Championship tickets but I beg to differ. I think the Chargers are an extremely strong team with a highly underrated QB in veteran gunslinger Phillip Rivers. I truly believe Rivers will get a ring before his time is done and I really thought last year might of been the one for him to do so. He is banged up but the man is a tough SOB who thrives off of his competetiveness and never says die. Chargers starting RB Ryan Mathews is finally back and healthy and running the rock well, I expect him to have a productive night tonight. San Diego will be an electrified atmosphere tonight and this will help the Bolts defense dig deep for this one. Tommy and the Pats will do what they do but look for Chargers Safety Eric Weddle to snag a tipped pass or two for some costly interceptions. Patriot TE Gronkowski is an absolute monster, but I believe Brady has a bit of an off night tonight and struggles in the hostile enviornment with the pressure on. The Chargers are very well coached and their defensive schemes and blitzes will find a way to get to Brady. San Diego has always thrived in December and made a strong playoff push. I think that eventhough they have probably the toughest remaining schedule, they will solidify themselves a wildcard spot and will be extremely dangerous. In Rivers I trust and actually like bolo tie for the win. That being said, Bolts +3.5.
