***MNF IN THE SWAMP DIRTY BIRDZ @ PACK ATTACK***

***ATLANTA FALCONS +14***

Well, well, well, tonight we have a bit of a lopsided matchup on paper between the lowly Atlanta Falcons as they march into snowy Lambeu Field to take on the mighty Green Bay Packers. It is no question that the Cheese have been on fire lately, especially at home. However, the Birds are miraculously in a division race for first place since theirs is so pitiful. That being said, the Falcons will be pulling out all the tricks in the book this week to give this one all they got and try to win out the rest of the season. Their rival and likely first place opponent is the New Orleans Saints whom just recieved a beatdown at home yesterday by an unlikely Carolina Panthers team who is also a part of that terrible division. Therefore, the Falcons have a chance to pull ahead here but something tells me when they play the Saints next week, that it will be for the division with both of them losing this week, and winning the next, before they meet in two Sundays. In a nutshell what I am trying to say is the that the Falcons will give this their best shot and have the offensive weapons to keep up with Rodgers who will inevitably torch this poor defense. The lone bright spot of it Falcon CB Trufant may be able to stick on Cheese WR Jordy Nelson to slow him down a bit but they are going to need some lucky bounces go their way if they want to actually try and win this thing. I think they go toe to toe for most of the game before eventually running out of time but getting a nice 'ol fashioned backdoor cover on this one and keeping it within two TDs in the end. Also look for Cheese stud LB Clay Matthews facing his younger cousin, Falcon's LT Jake Matthews. Ya gotta love family matchups like this, especially on the Prime Time Stage. This is lil Jakey's chance to make a name for himself by slowing down the pass rush from his big bad cousin in front of the world and protect his QB. Call me crazy but I think he does it enough to give Matty Ice time to find his favorite toy, freak WR Julio Jones. Jones had a stellar performance last week against arguably one of the best CBs in the game in Arizona's Patrick Peterson and torched him all game long. I think they look to get him the ball early and often and now he will have fellow WR Roddy White who although isn't feeling 100% but also hasn't for the majority of the year. He said himself he is a football player and will come to play. I also like rookie RB Davonta Freeman to get after it this game and be a suprise factor, just a hunch. Prime Time Football can bring the best out of struggling teams in a potential statement spot like this. This one will come down to ATL QB Matty Ice being able to lead his team and make smart decisions, which I think he continues to do. He has shown these past couple weeks that he has stepped up, and they have been playing better as a result. Okay it is almost kickoff at this point so I will shutup now, sorry for the delay. Dirty Birdz with the points to make it a game, Matty Ice and Julio down by the schoolyard +13.5 in a high scoring one.
