***MNF IN THE SWAMP - NYG @ PHILLY -BLACKOUT SPECIAL***

***NEW YORK GIANTS @ PHILADELPHIA EAGLES***

OHHHHHHhhh in the words of my main man Stone Cold Steve Austin.....CAN I GET A HELL YEAH?! Great day in the Swamp yesterday and your favorite boogie oogie man is in the zone. Tonight we have yet another Prime Time NFC East divisional matchup between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. The GMen may be the team most victim to the injury bug this year. I have to hand it to them, they have handled adversity extremely well so far this year with playing some great football and stringing together some big wins. Tonight I think their good fortunate stops as they run out of luck in Philly against a very hungry team looking to finally get it going here afte some early mishaps themselves. Last week the Eagles took care of business at home and beat up on Drew Brees and the Saints and the Gmen were able to fend off the 49ers with Eli Manning leading a game winning touchdown drive in the final moments of the game.

Tonight Eli will feel the pressure from this Philly defense who is much better than they have seemed. The Eagle defensive unit is on the field more than any other team in the league. They aren't bad, they get fatigued after being forced to constantly be on the field due to the team's offensive struggles with repetitive 3 and outs. Last week, they finally seemed to get into a groove as their new QB Sam Bradford began to successfully distribute the ball to the many speedy weapons at his disposal due to the lack of pass rush and having some time to relax in the pocket and see the field. So far this kid looks like a little boy wit his big brother's football equipment on and is constantly pooping himself. So, it is a good thing the Giants have ZERO pass rush...so what I'm saying is...Bradford AKA DEAD EYES (dude freaks me out) will have time tonight. RB DeMarco Murray also seemed to finally get things going and with Ryan Matthews interchanging carries and Darren Sproles out of the backfield catching passes, this Giant defense is in trouble. The Giants defensive strength thus far has been their run defense suprisingly considering the lack of playmakers they have in the game, however tonight they will get bruised up the middle by Murray and the secondary will not be able to cover all the speed at WR. On the other side of things it looks as though New York stud WR Odell Beckham will be playing but may be nothing more than a decoy as he isn't fully healthy and neither is fellow WR Ruben Randle. Even if they were, the Philly CBs are very physical and will definitely be hitting Beckham every chance they get which looks like is the key to getting in his head and disrupting his game. Malcom Jenkins to be specific, is a ball hawk and I think will pick off Eli in this one. Eli has been awesome the past few games but will be on his back a lot tonight with their offensive line woes about to be blitzed badly. That being said I do like him to have some success with RB Shane Vereen out of the backfield behind the blitz for all you fantasy heads but other than that, I foresee a lopsided game here. The Eagles are blacking out the stadium and rocking the all black bad ass uniforms which may sound dumb but I know definitely adds some juice to their game tonight I don't care what anyone says, see 49ers in week 1 for example. Bird gang big tonight. EAGLES -3.5
