AAaaaaannnnndddddd for some Thanksgiving dessert, we have a NFC North 'ol fashioned black and blue battle between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. Head Coach John Fox and Da Bears have some good things going on and are moving in the right direction. The Packers had a HUGE statement win last week on the road against a surging Minnesota team in a big time division game to get things back on track after dropping two straight. The Pack was in a physical war with the Purple People and it is a short week. It is supposed to be a wet and cold rainy night in Green Bay and I expect these guys to beat the hell out of each other tonight in a ground and pound type of game. Green Bay RB Eddie Lacy finally looked like the runaway train that he is last week. Da Bears have also found a new running attack of their own with the rookie Langford who has filled in for Forte nicely. Speaking of Matt Forte, he is rumored to be back in the lineup tonight which will provide a nice 1-2 punch for Chicago to utilize in the slippery conditions and I expect Green Bay to do the same with Lacy and Starks. Bears QB Jay Cutler has been solid this year and despite playing against arguably the best defense in the league last week in the Broncos, he still had his team in position with a chance to tie the game at the very end. If his favorite and most dangerous target WR Alshon Jeffery plays tonight I like him to be a big difference maker in this one, even if just a decoy. I got to run but in a nutshell- Rodgers got the win in Minnesota but I don't think that means they have completely solved all of their issues and the Da Bears will be gunning for the upset tonight in the Prime Time spotlight. Rodgers may struggle a bit versus a newly charged John Fox defense. That all being said, I like this one to be a low scoring affair, defensive affair and DA Bears to keep it close and maybe even upset here in a 4th Quarter thriller. DA BEARS +7.5
