Short and sweet today as the witching hour is upon us! It is plain and simple here folks. A "do or die" situation for Gang Green and all the stars are aligning in their favor for this one. The Pats are extremely banged up and undermanned today on the road in MetLife where the Jets will be as amped up as can be to keep their playoff dreams alive against arguably the best team in the NFL as well as their bitter rival. The Jet defense will be in Brady's face all game and I fully expect them to feed off the energy of the home crowd and get it done today. Gang Green will be rolling on all cylinders in this one and the Pats will not be able to match them on that level of motivation. My question is, does Belichik want to help the Jets get in the playoffs here? I know he would most likely much rather face them than the Steelers down the road! I don't think type of conspiracy losses on purpose type takes place but if it does, Belichik would be the Coach to foresee and think ahead like this. J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS +2
***CAROLINA PANTHERS @ ATLANTA FALCONS***
ATL Super Bowl situation here at home hosting the undefeated division rival Carolina Panthers. I like the Falcons to get up for this game and the Georgia Dome to be BUZZING! This one reminds me of when the Panthers went into New Orleans and another division bottomfeeder Saints team gave the Panthers all they could handle. After the way the GMEN were able to make a comeback on the Cats last week, I feel like with only two weeks left, they won't be able to finish undefeated without maxiumum effort and I am not sure they will bring that today against a lowly Atlanta team whom they already whooped up on a couple weeks ago. I think that also benefits the Falcons side here in the fact that they have that whooping fresh on their minds still and would love nothing more than to hang their hat on serving their undefeated rival their first loss in a season to forget. ***INDIANAPOLIS COLTS @ MIAMI DOLPHINS***
Old Faithful Matt Hasselbeck fade here! I give this man a ton of credit being 40 years old and continuing to go out there and take beatings on the field. On the road today against Suh and friends, I don't like this to turn out well for him. While the Colts playoff hopes are still technically alive, I don't like their chances to win out and squeak into the postseason this year. I feel as though they are a broken team and the Phish will be up for this one as it is their last game of the season. Dolphins will put on a show today through both the ground and the air to get the W. DOLPHINS -2
***CLEVELAND BROWNS @ KANSAS CITY CHIEFS***
The Chiefs are on a monster winning streak and are at home at Arrowhead today hosting Johnny Football and the Browns. The Browns have nothing to play for but I have noticed are a different team when Manziel is at QB. I like them to play like they have nothing to lose today and try to pull off a big upset in a ruckus enviornment to shock the world. The Chiefs are still looking to maybe even steal the division from the Broncos but they are banged up on defense and I think J. Football can scoot and scramble to frustrate them and keep this thing close today. BROWNS+11.5
***SAN FRANCISCO 49ers @ DETROIT LIONS***
The Lions season is over and has been over for some time now but they have not given up on playing well and finishing the season strong. Today they play their last home game in the prideful Detroit and I think they get up for this one as they host the lowly San Francisco 49ers who look like they have packed it in this year which nobody would blame them for. They have a tough task today going on the road and defending all the weapons on the Detroit offense and I predict they will get overwhelmed early on by the Lions and will not be able to keep up on the offensive side of the ball. Niners QB Blaine Gabbert has played well since stepping in for Colin Kaepernick but I think he gets smacked up today by Ziggy Ansah and Co. as they feed off the energy coming from the Lion's crowd.
