***SNF IN THE SWAMP - WEEK 16 - NYG @ MINNY****

***NEW YORK GIANTS @ MINNESOTA VIKINGS***

Short and sweet here as it is almost game time. The SwampMan is not going to overthink this one. The Giants have lost all motivation here after the Redskins clinched the division late last night. Add in the fact that Odell Bekcham Jr. is suspended for this game, it is going to be hard for Big Blue to get up for this one. I would like to say that they would want to get a win for Coach Coughlin to help save his job, but I am not so sure any more. The Vikings on the otherhand are finally getting all of their studs back on defense, and when healthy these guys are one of the best units in the league. After the Packers and Seahawks getting whooped this afternoon, as well as the Falcons serving the Panthers their first loss, it opens up the scenario of the Vikings becoming the odd team out if they were to lose their last two games. Obviously Minnesota wants to avoid that situation at all costs with a win at home tonight versus a lesser opponent. Viking QB Teddy Bridgewater has been playing some of his best football lately, and I like the Vikes to keep it simple tonight and pound the rock with Adrian Peterson to control the game. Eli Manning will be under durress as the Purple People Eaters will surely be in his face all game against a weak offensive line and using the cold Minnesota crowd's energy for some extra juice on third downs. Without Odell, the Giants offense isn't much to fear and I think that Eli is in some serious trouble. The Purple People will look like world beaters tonight and head into Lambeu next week in a final game to determine the NFC North Crown against the Packers. VIKINGS -7
