***SWAMPY WILDCARD WEEKEND, ROUND 1- KC @ HOU***

***KANSAS CITY CHIEFS @ HOUSTON TEXANS***

AHHHH YEAAAAAA PLAYOFFS ARE HERE!!!! First up in this very interesting WildCard Weekend we have the streaking Kansas City Chiefs on the road in Houston taking on JJ Watt and the Texans. Oh baby Oh baby! After some rough starts, both of these teams really seem to have found their swag as the season went on and boast some tough defenses. Both offenses are limited however I believe from watching Kansas City during their winning streak, that they have found some mojo in the offense and their play-calling has been superb. On the other hand, the Texans have had a QB carousel all season long, preventing them to find anything consistent. They have one of the best young WRs in the game in DeAndre Hopkins who I am sure will have himself a game today, I just am not sure it will be enough. KC safety Eric Berry is back and healthy from battling cancer, and I think will be big over the top limiting Hopkins on the deep ball. QB Brian Hoyer is solid, but I think will be under durress today with top defensive veterans like Tamba Hali and Justin Houston back and hungry for a playoff win. I can see Hoyer possibly turning the ball over in some big spots. Honestly that is what it comes down to today for me, is Hoyer versus that mean pass rush. The Texans have very little of a running game, and besides throwing prayers up to Hopkins, the Texan offense can really be stifled as we have seen at times this year. On the other side of things, I see KC coach Andy Reid dialing up an offensive scheme to steer clear of JJ Watt and confuse the rest of the defense with misdirection and short passes underneath. QB Alex Smith has really been great during the recent stretch of wins managing the game and really has seemed to of built a chemistry with his top two weapons in WR Jeremy Maclin and TE Travis Kelce. I also think Smith's ability to tuck the rock and run when needed will be a huge factor today and frustrate this Texan defense converting crucial 3rd downs. Speaking of the run game, ever since RB Jamal Charles went down earlier this year, the Chiefs have really found something out of their two backup RBs Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware who have really filled in very nicely in Charles absence. I like both of these youngsters to have themselves a big day. All in all as we get close to kickoff here I just feel like when it comes down to it, the Chiefs are the straight up better team with a better coach and due to break their playoff victory drought. I like them to come with a great gameplan and whoop some ass right out of the gate! KC TO GO HUNTIN AND CHOP UP SOME BULLS TODAY TO ADVANCE TO THE NEXT ROUND!!! CHIEFS-3
