Ahhhh week 1 of the NFL always caps us off with a MNF double header, I LIKE THAT! (Kirk Cousins voice) Not much time for a writeup here as I got held up in work and it is almost time for kickoff. That being said, I will keep this one short and sweet. I think we are in for a treat here as we will get to see two passing offenses at work in what might be a shootout as the Steelers head into Washington to take on the Redskins on MNF. Another great matchup that we will get to see is Steelers WR Antonio Brown who is arguably the best in the league, up against newly acquired Redskins Pro Bowl CB Josh Norman. I can't wait to see these two go head to head tonight. While I love Big Ben and can never count him out, I am going to roll with the Skins in this one on the big stage of MNF to start the season with a big win at home. I like Head Coach Jay Gruden and think he has this team going in the right direction. QB Kirk Cousins really came into his own last year and this is simply a match of a team at full strength against a Steelers team missing some key pieces, advantage Skins. I like Cousins to go toe to toe with Big Ben here in a back and forth gunslinging match and the X Factor to be Washington WR DeSean Jackson capitalizing on the deep ball against this young Pittsburgh secondary. I also like the direction the Skin defense is headed behind LBs Will Compton and Ryan Kerrigan. No time for spell check, so I apologize in advance. REDSKINS+2.5
