***SNF IN THE SWAMP - CHI @ DAL***

***CHICAGO BEARS @ DALLAS COWBOYS***

Ugly game on the SNF slate tonight as we have a dismantled Bears team stumbling into Dallas after suffering a beatdown by the Rookie QB Carson Wentz and the now 3-0 high flying Philadelphia Eagles. Long story short, the Bears will be without starting QB Jay Cutler. Brian Hoyer will be replacing him during the interim. Some may say good riddance with Cutler and maybe Hoyer will bring a breath of fresh air to this offense, and they may be right. However I do not like the spot Chicago is in tonight as they will also be without many key defensive players like LB Danny Trevathan and DT Pernell McPhee to name a few. I think Rookie QB Dak Prescott will have his breakout game tonight for the Cowboys at home on the Prime Time stage vs this snake bitten defense. I think he will find his WRs Dez, Beasely, and TE Witten early and often, with also utilizing his mobility to scramble and pick up first downs when needed. Fellow Rookie RB Ezekial Elliot has also been struggling a bit and is yet to bust out having that big welcome to the NFL type of game. The Cowboys defense is also subpar and without many key playmakers due to suspensions and such, but they have been holding down the fort for the most part thus far. Throw in the energy of homefield and the stage of SNF and going up against an error prone QB like Hoyer, and I think they will play well enough tonight and make things tough for this Bears offense. Head Coach John Fox has his Bears team going in the right direction and is desperately trying to rebuild that defense and bring back that Monsters of the Midway mentality. Unfortunately for them because of injuries that may have to wait a little longer. The Bears have many playmakers on the offensive side of the ball and I am personally high on RB Jeremy Langford although he hasn't really ran away with the starting role just yet, no pun intended. He will most likely have a big game tonight but it won't be enough to keep up with a Cowboys offense that should bust out in a big way tonight. Short and sweet as it is almost time for kickoff here, COWBOYS-6.5
