***SNF IN THE SWAMP - PHI @ DAL***

***PHILADELPHIA EAGLES @ DALLAS COWBOYS***

The SwampMan is pumped up with probably the best Prime Time matchup all year on deck tonight. Especially with all the snoozers on the big stage lately, this one is a real treat just in time for Halloween, MuHAHaa. An extremely interesting duel between two Rookie QBs in the NFC East will take place as Carson Wentz and the Eagles head into Dallas to take on Dak Presott and the Cowboys. With all the early success, both QBs have been very positive surprises for their franchises, especially Prescott given his draft status. Prescott was forced into action this year when the veteran QB Tony Romo was injured in preseason. He is now said to be getting healthier and closer to being cleared for action. Dak has been stellar to say the least in his absence, and the Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFL. It's a shame but I feel like the pressure of Romo returning and wanting his job back and the QB controversy it will most likely cause in Dallas will screw up the mojo Dak and the Boys currently have going. Along with Dak has been fellow rookie RB Ezekial Elliot who behind the best offensive line in football, has taken the NFL by storm. The Rookie duo have held down a Cowboys offense without their start WR Dez Bryant due to injury these past few weeks as well and haven't skipped a beat. Dak has been incredibly poised in the pocket and he will need to continue to do so facing a very good Philadelphia defensive front. Wentz has been a sparkplug of his own for the Eagles this year. They started the season hot going 3-0 before dropping two straight games out of their bye week. The Birds then got things back on track last week when they dethroned the last undefeated team in the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings and served them their first loss. Philly's only NFC East game was on the road against the Redskins and the Skins took it to them, running the rock right down their throats all game. I feel as though Dallas will try and take the same approach tonight. Dez Bryant will also be back tonight and this will provide extra energy to the offense. I expect Dak to have a big game, and use his legs when needed to pick up first downs. I like what Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz has done with this Philadelphia defense but I just feel as though in this spot, on the road, and in Prime Time will be too much for them to handle. Wentz is good and looks like he has what it takes to become a great NFL QB, but at times has looked more like a Rookie than Prescott. He should be able to find some success against the Dallas defense but the Cowboys D has been playing way above their expectations this season and I truly feel that it is a ripple effect from the positive mojo provided by the Rookie duo. I look for them to feed off of the home crowd tonight and rise to the occasion in this huge Divisional bout as we get a preview of the Cowboy Triplets of the future in this one in Dak, Ezekial, & Dez.
