***SNF IN THE SWAMP - GB @ ATL***

***GREEN BAY PACKERS @ ATLANTA FALCONS***

The Swamp remains frozen after back to back ice cold Muck 5's! Enough is enough, let's quickly get into this Prime Time matchup tonight when the Super Bowl collapsing Atlanta Falcons open up their brand new home when the always dangerous Green Bay Packers come into ATL to help them do so. This has kind of become quite the matchup lately between these two squads. Last season they played a thriller in ATL that the Falcons were lucky to squeak out of. They then faced off in the NFC Championship where the Falcons laid the BOOM on them and sent the Pack packing. A lot of different factors go into tonight's show. The Falcons looked all sorts of out of sync last week on the road as they nearly lost to Da Bears and were fortunate enough to avoid disaster as Chitown just couldn't make that final play to get the win at the end of the game. The Packers on the other hand were able to fend off the Seahawks at home and start the season off on the right foot.

It was indeed this very matchup that closed the old Atlanta stadium and it is only right that we get the same to christen the new one. I believe last week that the Falcons may have been looking a bit a head to tonight and inevitably looked over the lowly Bears by doing so. The weren't locked in and ready to go hence Chicago catching them sleeping and almost stealing a victory. The Packers on the other hand looked really good on both sides of the ball. However the Seahawks offense seems to really be struggling, especially after just watching their game earlier against the 49ers, so that does makes you wonder just how improved this Packers defense really is? I believe Falcons QB Matt Ryan will be locked in tonight ready to redeem himself and the Falcons in front of their home fans after blowing the biggest lead in Super Bowl history. It has been a long offseason of being the butt of everybody's football jokes and the Packers are the perfect respectable opponent to open up against and make a statement tonight on the big stage. QB Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best there is in today's game and last week the Atlanta defense was getting schooled in both the passing and running game by Chicago, but again I think it was just a case of them looking ahead because this is a young, fast, hard-hitting defense that is extremely well coached, despite that whole blowing the Super Bowl thing. Sometimes you got to learn your lesson the hard way, kind of like my picks the first two weeks, sorry about that! Almost game time, I'm rolling with Head Coach Dan Quinn to successfully scheme up a defensive game plan to contain Rodgers just enough to get the Win tonight in a high-scoring, back and forth thriller, or so I hope! FALCONS-3
